What we collect

• Account and profile: Name, email, company, role, and login details.
• Usage and product data: How you use HORECAI (e.g. chat, requests, feature usage) to run and improve the service.
• Business data you provide: Orders, baskets, supplier info, invoices, delivery details, inventory and par-levels, and any other data you give in chat or via integrations.

Why we use it

• To provide and operate HORECAI (ordering, substitutions, tracking, reconciliation, forecasting).
• To improve recommendations and product (using your ordering and inventory context, with role-based access and audit trails).
• For security, fraud prevention, and legal/compliance.

We do not sell your personal or business data.

Legal basis

We process data to perform our contract with you and, where relevant, for our legitimate interests in running and improving the service. Where law requires consent (e.g. certain marketing), we ask for it separately.

Retention

We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You can request deletion of your data (see Your rights).

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run HORECAI (under strict obligations), or when required by law. We do not share your data with third parties for their marketing.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To do so, contact us at the address below. If you are in the EU/UK or Saudi Arabia, you also have rights under GDPR or PDPL (e.g. complaint to a supervisory authority).

International transfer

If we transfer data outside your country, we do so under appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) in line with applicable law, including Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law where it applies.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version and, for material changes, notify you as required by law.
